Some people don't understand the importance of self love and think it is more for the hippies, or they are just too stressed to feel blessed. I want to tell you the important of self love, it has many psychology studies, self-love and -compassion are key for mental health and well-being, keeping depression and anxiety at bay.
What do self love mean :
Self-love means that you accept yourself fully, treat yourself with kindness and respect, and nurture your growth and wellbeing.
Putting self-love into practice:
To get started, identify one thing you can do for yourself today. If you write this down you will do it. Writing it down increases accountability and makes it more likely that you will follow through. When you practise this each day and begin to add more loving thoughts and actions to your daily life, they will begin to crowd out some of your self-defeating thoughts and behaviours. With practice, self-love will become second nature.
